Parco in Val Sanagra

Just behind the famous Lake Como lies the Val Sanagra, which is a magnificently unspoilt and undiscovered area rich in flora, fauna and antique rural settlements. The walk starts in Pianure. The trail then follows the Sanagra stream, a typical alpine watercourse, where you can see ancient mills and iron foundries. The streams have formed impressive gorges which can be admired from several panoramic points. The walk then passes through Barna, which is a lovely hamlet where time seems to have stood still
